Finished the grand weedout of gen and het fanfics. Now have 3 files instead of 5 and room to file more slash! Actually before then I really need to do some work on my index of fics kept, over half of it needs re-writing because of all the stuff I've dumped. Oh to have my own computer and be able to spend hours typing it all up instead of writing it out. I still can't make up my mind if I want to spend something like £1000 on a laptop (it's pointless buying a desktop PC as the one thing my room lacks is anywhere to put it - oh the joys of 3 adults living in a semi-detached rabbit hutch).

It's hot again today, right now (1:40 pm) it's 86F outside (30C) but it has clouded over a lot so it isn't as sunny as it was first thing this morning.

Have spent this afternoon re-writing my index of fanfics, have only done A to E, it's too warm to do much else.

Also listened to the Swedish version of Chess that Tris gave me yesterday. It gets the award for the worst version of I Know Him So Well, it's really dire. I think I'll stick to mostly listening to the versions of Chess, in English, that I already have.

Tried thinking about writing AYAMII this morning, the muses didn't want to come out to play :(

Have continued the index re-write until my hand aches too much to continue, am part way through M.

Finished listening to the Swedish version of Chess. Disc 2, think it's track 10, my brain is going "I know this tune" (it's not on the other versions I have of Chess) but it took a few moments to remember where on earth I remembered it from ... it's the tune of the verse of the original (ABBA) version of "Just Like That" (where the chorus and verses don't work together at all). I wonder if Tris knows that or has heard it or if he's heard Agnetha singing the "Every good woman" demo which became part of "Heaven Help My Heart"? I shall try to remember it for Monday morning.
