(no subject)

Am on my second attempt to download the squintyvision verson of "Revisions". The first attempt got stuck at 39% for 15 minutes and there's no way it could have made the 2 hours (before my connection cuts and re-dials) if it hasn't got to 50% after an hour. I should have thought of it earlier on as I woke before 6am.

At least today doesn't seem quite so hot and sticky as the last few days but then I'm not stuck in an office in the middle of Oxford.

Second attempt at downloading worked perfectly with a couple of minutes to spare.

I watched Revisions this afternoon and again found myself trying to place where I'd seen certain elements before and being a couple of (thinking) steps ahead of Carter. Quite enjoyable as an ep but I don't think it will go down as a favourite.

After that I got my AYAMII scrawls out and stuck the VCD of Fallen in the computer to drown out the distant sounds of classical music Dad had on while painting the hall (I like quite a lot of classical music but what drives me crazy is it being so quiet where I am that I can't hear it properly - thus drowning it out with Stargate because Dad had painted the doorframe and I therefore couldn't close my door completely). Not really sure how the AYAMII scrawls are coming along at the moment - I've got to get to the end of the shower scene soon!
