Desktop meme
Thursday, 4 March 2004 18:47Why you choose the background color/image you did?
My now long standing desktop image came off some SG website, not sure what site, but it was the background to the pages and I kinda liked it. Previously my desktop image was some aurora photo off the Nasa "Astronomy Picture of the Day" page.
Why your toolbar is where it is?
It's lurking down there, at the bottom of the screen where I can ignore it most of the time.
Why the choices on your toolbar are present?
A useful little toolbar/menu nestling down in the right hand corner beside the little box with icons in. The toolbar/menu mirrors many of the icons on my desktop so I don't have to minimise everything or wade through the wretched menus on the start menu etc. It's got my camera program, Excel, FrontPage, Internet Explorer, DVD player, mirc, Outlook Express, Paint, shortcut to my main document folder, Word plus secondary menus (one with favourite games, the other with assorted odds and sods)
What the desktop icons are?
You really wanna know this?
Virus checker, CD creater, a couple of download programs,
shortcuts to a couple of my folders, Internet Explorer, mirc, recycle bin, Windows Explorer, character map, shortcut to the same games shortcut folder as mentioned above, Outlook Express, FrontPage, QuickTime player, Windows media player, DVD player, screensaver (Marine Aquarium 2 - I keep tweaking the fish selection), Paint, camera program, Word and Excel
