something I forgot to mention yesterday ...
As I was just leaving the office yesterday afternoon my boss Chris asked me how I was doing with the hot weather. I said okayish then Tris (absolute sci-fi geek) suddenly exclaims "Sebacean!"
I bust out laughing but poor Chris has the look of utter 'what-the-hell?' on her face. We (Tris and me) then tried to explain a Farscape race to a non-sci-fi watcher, Tris grinning at me like the idiot he is.
They look like humans but they're not and they're intolerant of heat.
At least it's an improvement on the race from Star Trek (original series - we're talking back in the 1970's) that the boys at school thought I was. I didn't find it amusing at the time but in retrospect it's very funny.
PS Did some screencaps from 'Day of Leather, Day of Arse' last night and turned several into LJ icons. I deleted the Legacy, Fallen and Full Circle icons so I now have 2 Daniel (from Tin Man) and 8 Balance of Judgement/Remiel.
