You can 'blame'
amymccabe's post http://amymccabe.livejournal.com/481048.html for this little piece of Stargate Atlantis fanfic.

Doctor McKay was driving everybody crazy. If he wasn't yelling at Doctor Zelenka, he was re-running diagnostics on the gate problem for the umpteenth time and when that failed McKay paced back and forth and kept checking his watch. He was like a man possessed.
"What did you do to the gate Radek?" he demanded.
"Nothing, absolutely nothing."
"Are you sure?"
"I am absolutely positive I have not done anything which ..."
With a wave of his hand McKay cut Zelenka off in mid flow. "I'm going to my lab, call me when you've got this mess fixed."
McKay stomped off and there was a collective sigh of relief.
One technician who had only been on Atlantis for a few days innocently said, "I don't understand why Doctor McKay …"
Zelenda frowned at the technician. "Our weekly data exchange with Earth is extremely important, especially to Doctor McKay."
In a whisper the technician nearest the newbie added, "It's not just scientific data, McKay is a Doctor Who fan and he needs his weekly fix."
The newbie looked shocked then sniggered. "Honestly? McKay is a Doctor Who fan?"
His colleague nodded. "And today's data exchange is due to include the last episode of the season."
Zelenka cleared his throat. "Can we concentrate on the problem please!"
Shaking his head in disbelief, the newbie turned his attention back to the console in front of him. Whoever would think Doctor Rodney McKay was a Doctor Who fan.
The End
