sazandra: (And 8 Balance of Judgement)
I really don't want to be up early on a Saturday morning but my back gave me grief all b*##*y night. I just like to stay in bed on Saturday and Sunday mornings and relax and, if the muses comply, try and write.

I did manage to add a whole sentance to AYAMII last night even thought the muses eluded me and I did have some more thoughts on the end of the shower scene while having my shower this morning. Maybe later they'll co-operate? Oh look, a flying pig!

Have seen the comments on last night's SG ep Lifeboat so am waiting for the squinty vision version to appear. I want to see this one!

In the meantime I have what the postman just delivered: VCDs from WelshHelen of The Lowdown, Revision, Orpheus and Fragile Balance. They should keep me quiet for a few hours today!

Have watched the Lowdown and Fragile Balance this morning, really enjoyed that ep and the mini-Jack was really good :)

1. What's your favorite cheese?
Something fairly boring and tasteless, which usually means Edam.

2. How long do you hold onto odd socks before giving up on finding their mate?
Until I have a grand tidy up (this is usually a seasonal event) and can't find it's mate ... sometime later I usually find it in some stupid place that I didn't think to look.

3. Who was your favorite musical artist when you were 15?
15 would have meant 1980-81 ... Abba!
I was 15 when I bought my first singles: the first one was by Spandau Ballet.

4. What shape are your fingernails in right now?
Long

5. Two scoops: of what?
The answer to such a stupid question should be a stupid answer but I can't think of one except that two hours of Michael Shanks a day is enough to fill my mega sized drool pool.

6. What's your earliest memory?
Our next door neighbour sitting in with me the morning my sister was born then being taken into what was then my parents' bedroom (now mine) and seeing the creature for the first time!

7. When does your pet look funniest?
Either when he's asleep on his back with his fluffy belly fur show or when he does the left right left right walk (both left legs in sync then the right ones). It look incredibly silly!

8. What do you collect?
I used to collect stamps but I got fed up with the Royal Mail's millenium stamps and got interested is some sci-fi show's online fandom.

9. What's better than sex?
Since I've never had sex I have no idea.

10. What things are you brand-loyal to?
Coca-Cola, Colgate

11. Favorite Dr. Seuss book?
Never read one of them.

12. Best meal you've had lately?
Thursday night's pizza - first time I'd felt hungry in a week or more with the hot weather.

13. Peanut Butter and ________?
Throwing up at the meer smell of it.

14. Who's your favorite poet?
Not into poetry.

15. Where are you going on vacation this year?
Still got another week at home in September/October then there's SG6 October/November to look forward to.

16. If you could change careers tomorrow with no strings attached, what would you be?
I wouldn't call what I do for work now a career and I haven't got the faintest idea even though others think I should do more creative/artist stuff.

17. Whaddya drive?
Other people nuts occasionally!

18. What's your poison?
Huh?

19. The color of the carpet on your floor?
Cream.

20. What's on your walls?
There are only 3 small sections of wall invisible in here as all the rest is covered by cupboards and bookcases. The section behind the door has an almost photographic painting of a National Trust garden; the section between a cupboard and end of the bookcases has a painting of Tom Tower (Christ Church College, Oxford) given to me by one of my previous bosses; and finally the section between the bookcase and window has my largest "glass" painting propped up against it

Wow!
I could sit and watch MS doing those other characters for ages, very fascinating :)
