Looking at my bookcase, some books I own:

100 Great Houseplants
I think we can blame my aunt for this one, she thinks I'm good with plants - I have a tendancy to kill them with love.

The Handmade Soap Book
Either Mum or my sister bought me that, people seem to think that just because I like arts and crafts they can buy me a book on something I've not tried before and I will give it a try. Quite why I haven't given it away yet I don't know, probably because it's right up the top in the most difficult place to reach.

Understand Hieroglyphs and The Cat in Ancient Egypt
The first one has got to have been a pressie from my sister, well my bookcases are littered with books on ancient Egypt ...

Celtic Knotwork: A Practical Handbook
Do you see a pattern emerging here?

The Reflexology Handbook
No one but myself to blame for that, a leftover from when I did Reflexology as an evening class some years ago.

The Lost Tomb by Kent Weeks
Now that is a book I've re-read several times, about the re-discovery and excavation of KV5.

Historic Houses 1200 - 1800
I love books about the structure and development of buildings.

The Cairo Museum Masterpieces of Egyptian Art and Valley of the Kings
Neither book is a book to fall asleep with in your lap because they're really large and heavy, and full of lovely photographs.

The Face of Tutankhamun by Christopher Frayling
Doesn't Daniel pack a copy of it in his bags before the first trip to Abydos?

Abba: The Complete Recording Sessions

Restoration
About the restoration of Windsor Castle after part of it was destroyed by fire in 1992 and about all the stuff they discovered in the process. I also have a book about the restoration of Uppark house after that was almost destroyed by fire.

Heaps of Arthur C Clarke books: 2001, Rendezvous With Rama etc

Doctor Who: The Eighties
Okay I probably have a dozen books on Doctor Who, not forgetting several on Star Wars, a few on the different Star Treks and the illustrated guides to Farscape and Stargate, one on Blake's 7 episodes and several which cover a range of sci-fi shows and films. Just a few books on sci-fi.
