The plot bunny that may or may not produce a fic for Babsie's zine

Well I've started writing, 164 words last night.

For now is starts
We were almost at the end of the funeral service before any of us became aware of his presence there. Steven noticed the figure lurking in the shade of the trees and stumbled over his words, then changed what he had intended to say to make a barbed comment directed at the figure.
And is in first person POV.
Not sure whether this is going to work yet.

After last night's 164 words the rest came to me this afternoon and it now stands at 654 words.

Whether it will meet with Babsie's approval or not I wait to see. Maybe it would have helped to attach it to the email but I know she won't check that email account for another couple of days and I may have more thoughts between now and then.

Sanna had a read. Pointed out some of the things Dawn and I discussed a few days ago and that the grammar was all over the place, I knew the latter wasn't good but was leaving it for a while until I tried to sort it out.

Anyway I've now attacked the grammar and the word count is up to 759.

I'll have another look at it tomorrow.
