How can it be Friday already?

23 weeks until SG-12
35 weeks until Pegasus 3

At least this weekend is a long one thanks to the bank holiday on Monday. Unfortunately it's then another three months until the next bank holiday.

Isn't it about time we got some more public holidays? Spread them out a bit. We need one in July, and then a couple between the August one and Christmas. I vote for Trafalgar Day, for that, btw. Sometime in October.

SG12 is creeping up on me slowly but surely. Yay!!!!

Swap the bank holiday we get for May Day with Trafalgar Day? We get four out of our eight bank holidays Easter/May Day/late Spring sometimes within a six or seven week period if Easter is late - it's just stupid. Around here the May Day one is a bit stupid, like in Oxford they celebrate May Day actually on 1st May whatever day of the week it is.

I know. It's scary how fast time is going. My nephew is one on Tuesday, and I can't believe how quick that's gone too. And is it normal now for Wolf to have not announced any guests by now? I know they have an event in August to plan, but there's only 1 guest announced for that too!

SG-12 is the same weekend as one of the Creation cons in the US. So far they've announced Michael Shanks, Don S Davis, Paul McGillion, Tony Amendola, Cliff Simon, Steve Bacic and Jay Acovone as their guests, which tells us who we're not getting.

I think Wolf would have usually announced somebody by now, they announced Paul McGillion for Pegasus 3 in January 2008 a while back, but I guess Wolf will keep quiet for as long as possible about guests for SG-12 - they don't want Creation nabbing them. There's no love lost between Wolf and Creation after the Creation arranged a con in London for the same weekend as Wolf's Children of the Gods - Alexis Cruz managed to appeared at both cons.

There's also a Gatecon in Reading two weeks before SG-12, guests for that are Colin Cunningham, Teryl Rothery and Carmen Argenziano - so I doubt we'll be seeing any of those at SG-12 either. If it had been say a month before SG-12 I would have bought a ticket for that Gatecon when they were first announced but remembering November 2004 when Wolf's SG-8 and Level 3's Stargate Universe were three weeks apart I hadn't recovered from the first by the time of the second. Unless there's a guest announed for Gatecon that I really, really want to see I'm not going to that.

Things don't sound good for Wolf, then. There's nobody left! Oh well, I'm not going for the guests anyway!

Oh there are plenty of other potential guests as Wolf have proved over the last few years, you don't have to have one of the leads. Ten years of SG1 (and SGA as well)m there are lots of actors we still haven't seen.

True and I bet they've sold plenty of tickets without announcing anyone yet!

I just looked at the Wolf store, as at 13th April they only had 30 meet and greet tickets left so that was 270 tickets sold - and it's a month and a half later now so they must have sold a few more by now.
