The humans arrived home at 2.30 pm and I got my pressies from Julia (via mum - 5 pairs of earrings). I forgot about the other part of my pressie from mum & dad, a fleecy bodywarmer - I just have to hide it from Boris who has taken a shine to another of my sweaters now.

We had what must be the most uninspiring birthday dinner ever this evening: egg and chips (fries).

Egg and chips may be uninspiring, but it's one of my favourite meals.
In fact, when I was in hospital last year, and the year before, all I wanted when I got out was my mum's homemade chips and egg.
