sazandraI hate the first day back after a holiday away from work.
74 unread emails in my inbox, a pile of minutes and stuff to type, one of my officers on stress-related sick leave etc etc.
I did have a birthday card waiting for me on my desk :-)
On the front are 3 daleks and a flight of stairs.
"Well, this certainly buggers our plan to conquer the universe."
And it was a very long journey home tonight. Left work at 5:30 pm. Had to wait 15 minutes for a bus in an already long queue, bus eventually left at 5:50 pm. Virtually no traffic for about a mile out of the centre of Oxford then a mile of solid traffic. Eventually get out of Oxford at 6:15 pm and find the end of a 3 mile queue to get over the Swinford Toll Bridge, over bridge at 6:45 pm, got off bus at 6:50 pm, got home 6:55 pm. Nearly an hour and a half desk to door :-(
