Spent this afternoon wrapping Christmas presents, since the humans are over at my sister's this weekend, after I'd had another look at my first page and a bit of AYAMIII. Most of what I committed to the computer on 24th November got deleted straight away and I tried to re-write the first few paras. It did not go well so this could take a long while to write even with Ozy's helpful inspiration the other night.

Come back online this evening and find there are photos from the forthcoming ep "Resurrection" and ... um ... the shipper in me hath awakened.

PS Looking more closely at one of the Daniel photos from Resurrenction (the one where you can see his arms are crossed) you can see the bracelet of different stone beads alongside his watch.

I really don't want to see any ship of any kind in the series. I like to read Jack/Daniel and Daniel/Sam fanfic, but the TV series should be about the team. That's why I hate Sam/Jack, because it broke that fundamental rule for me, and that's why I'm absolutely appalled at the sight of that Resurrection picture. I don't mind looking at it, but I dearly hope it's not real or anything. And anyway, Daniel holds up that finger that looks like he's telling her to stop or back off, so I guess Sam's under the influence or something.

Hopefully (for the reasons you give) it will either turn out to be AT and MS 'playing' for the camera or alien [first time I typed that as aline] influence yet again.

As far as the pic goes, the only character on the show I have ever been able to believe Sam with is McKay. They've got the chemistry. They'd be so cool together. And he's probably now locked in a closet somewhere with Nyan. *sniffle*

I do agree with Liz... the show should be about the team. Leave the relationships to the fanfic writers. They do a better job of it. ;)

Thankfully the shipper has gone back to sleep again, might have been something to do with the exploration of that website Ozy!
