BBC News - The women who choose not to be mothers

Heartening to read that I am definitely not alone in not wanting children. All I need now is for somebody to write something decent about not wanting a relationship/partner/spouse/other half or however else you put it.

I made a decision years ago to not want children, at least not from my own genes. Migraines can be genetically passed on. I would NEVER forgive myself if a child of mine were to come to me with a hand pressed to one side of the head, screaming in pain. Never. I know how disturbingly painful a migraine is, and it's something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemies, let alone your own child.
